| get you by until you did a repaint? I'm not talking about spraying a hood or door, but rather areas like the bottom of the front facia that gets the paint rubbed off it. I have no cracks or anything, but where the yellow shows, it really pops against my black paint. It's only the bottom inch or so of the facia that could really use it. That area is rock-gaurded anyway, so it doesn't need to be perfect. The other area I'd like to try is the top of the rear bumper cover. About a year ago mine finally started to fade to a whitish color. I've tried buffing it well, but the clearcoat is actually starting to come off, so it's a lost cause. I'd like to try sanding and spraying the top of the rear bumper cover myself. I can always wet sand if there is any orange peel, etc. Then slap some clear on it and wet sand again if needed. It seems it can't look that much worse that faded white, peeling clearcoat. And, both areas would just be a temporary measure until I get the whole car painted. That could be a year or two at least though, so I'd like to make it look as good as I can until then. As far as pulling the facia and bumper cover and having them painted, that would be what $500 or more? I'd rather put that towards the whole car paintjob, or coilovers. Anyway, I know there are several places online to get factory matched paint in cans and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with vendors, or the paint, good or bad. Thanks,
